Engage OCDSB: Share Your Feedback
Engage OCDSB, our new online consultation platform, gives you the opportunity to provide feedback on initiatives you care about.
The OCDSB is looking to improve our elementary program quality and accessibility. Currently, the district offers six programs, along with special education supports, classes, and programming.
We also have 8 different elementary school configurations and a complex range of programs. While the current model has served the needs of many in our community for over 25 years, we
know that many other students have been underserved. This is why we want to hear about everyone’s experiences, and any ideas on how to best help students succeed in the future. Share
your thoughts about our elementary programs.
We're also seeking feedback on our budget and policies. The following consultations are currently open for input:
2024-2025 Budget
Board Member and Student Trustee Expenses and Support Services Policy
Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition for Mature Students Policy
Cooperative Education and Experiential Learning Policy
Please share these with members of your School Council and your parent/caregiver community!

Retaining walls
Visit our website to learn about the process, funding, outdoor features available, and how to get started.
Conducting a Parent Survey
An important part of building engagement is listening to families in your school community and understanding their needs and interests. Consider sending out a survey to identify what
parents in your school community need and want. We've shared examples of topics to ask about in order to gain insight into your community's thoughts and experiences.
