$500 Parent Involvement (PINV) Funding
Each year, schools and School Councils receive $500.00 in Parent Involvement (PINV) funds, allocated to be spent at their discretion on activities that foster and enhance parent involvement
and communication within the school community. These funds are specifically provided by the Ministry to support parent engagement initiatives in your school. Parent Involvement (PINV)
funds for this year have been disbursed directly to schools. Learn more.

Toonie Tuesday is February 27, 2024: Give A Little, Help A Lot!
Did you know that requests for support have increased by 35%? Ottawa families need our help! Every dollar raised will support students’ access to food, clothing, and meaningful activities.
On February 27th, we all come together to support students in need within the OCDSB. School Councils can help support this important initiative by spreading the word and hosting fundraising
activities. Let your toonie be the stepping stone to student success. Find out how your council can get involved.
Spread the Word: EarlyON Child and Family Centres
EarlyON Child and Family Centres are welcoming and supportive places where Ontario children and their parents, grandparents, and caregivers can learn, grow, and connect, together. At
EarlyON’s free multi-age drop-in playgroups, families can explore a variety of early learning activities together, speak with early years professionals, and meet other families in their
neighbourhood. No pre-registration is required to join.
Do you have an EarlyON Centre in your community? Spread the word to parents at your school and in your neighbourhood!
