The Chairs' Committee usually meets on the last Wednesday of the month during the school year at 7:30 pm. You may confirm dates and start times on the Board's web site. ABOUT THE CHAIRS' COMMITTEE AGENDA: The Ottawa - Carleton District School Board posts complete standing committee and Board meeting agendas and reports on the website on the Friday prior to the respective meetings. Draft agendas are also posted on the web at least six business days prior to the respective meetings — please see (http: / /www.ocdsb.ca /Board /Meetings /Board Comm Mt2s.htm). If you would like further information on this Agenda or how the Committee meeting works, please contact Bruce Fraser, Committee Coordinator at (613) 596 -8211, ext. 8643, or e -mail bruce.fraser(a)ocdsb.ca HOW TO APPEAR AS A DELEGATION OR ASK A QUESTION AT A MEETING: • Members of the public who would like to address the Board at a public meeting may do so as a delegation or through the public question period. • A maximum of five delegations will be heard at any regular Committee meeting. To request a spot please contact Bruce Fraser, Committee Coordinator at (613) 596 -8211, ext. 8643. • To appear as a delegation, you must submit your written statement to Bruce Fraser by 4:00 pm on the Thursday prior to a regularly scheduled Committee meeting. Your written statement will be included in the agenda package. • At the beginning of each Committee meeting, a maximum of 35 minutes will be allotted for delegations and public question period. Each delegation is restricted to four minutes speaking time. PURPOSE OF IN CAMERA MEETINGS: Under provincial law, "A meeting of a committee of a board, including a committee of the whole board, may be closed to the public when the subject - natter under consideration involves: (a) the securiti, o f the property o f the board; (b) the disclosure of intimate, personal or financial information in respect of a nieniber of the board or committee, an eniplQvee or prospective eniplQvee of the board or a pupil or his or her parent or guardian; (c) the acquisition or disposal of a school site; (d) decisions in respect of negotiations with eniplQvees of the board; or (e) litigation affecting the board.
