Re: Revision to the By -laws, 10:30 pm Vote
Trustee Lange has given notice that she will move as follows at the 31 March 2004
Chairs' Committee meeting:
Whereas there is ongoing confusion as to the meaning of the by -law regarding the 10:30 pm
vote, in order to clarify the by -law, thereby ensuring consistency of interpretation;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,
THAT item 17. 1, Adjournment be revised to read as follows:
At 10:30 pm the Chair shall interrupt any item under discussion for trustees to vote on
whether to continue the meeting. The meeting will adjourn unless two thirds of those
present for the vote cast a vote in favour of continuing the meeting.
