Re: Advisory Committee on the Arts
Trustee Spice has given notice that she will move as follows at the 2 July 2002
Board meeting:
Whereas the Board agreed to cover administrative costs to a maximum of $2,000 to each of
the advisory committees;
Whereas the Board motion did not specify the nature of the expenses that would be
covered;
Whereas the Chair of the Arts Advisory Committee submitted a letter in October
proposing the kind of expenses that be proposed to submit.
THEREFORE BE TT RESOLVED THAT the Chair of the Arts Committee be reimbursed for
legitimate expenses to a maximum of $2000 for those expenses included in his proposal and
that he not be charged with other expenses including refreshments provided to the
Committee or the refreshments provided for the Arts Awards ceremony since he was not
aware that these expenses would be charged.
