cover the following points:
• The need to minimize classroom and community impacts whenever budget and
program cuts are contemplated;
• The value of community knowledge and research in trying to anticipate impacts
and plan budget decisions accordingly;
• Specific areas where recent research by Our Schools, Our Communities might be
of use — specifically budget, facilities planning, and the additional funding the
OCDSB should be receiving under the province's formula for new pupil place
grants;
• The urgent need for continued advocacy.
