I would like to make a five - minute presentation to Board Tuesday night,
October 10, responding to the trustee motion calling on the province to
defer the December 31 deadline for identifying new pupil places. My
presentation will deal with the quality of currently - available demographic
data and the availability of space to accommodate potential growth in
school -age populations inside the Greenbelt.
For the moment, I would ask that you list this as a presentation from an
individual concerned citizen. I've only found out about this motion in the
past hour, and haven't had a chance to verify whether I will be speaking on
behalf of Mutchmor Council and/or Mutchmor SOS. In deference to trustees'
time, and to an agenda that I understand is already quite packed, I will do
my best in the time available to position the presentation as broadly as
possible, and to incorporate pertinent information from other Targeted
Family schools.
