Re: Appointments to the Special Education Advisory Committee
ORIGINATOR: Joan Melancon, Assistant Secretary of the Board
PURPOSE:
To seek approval of the appointment of a member and an alternate
member representing the Down Syndrome Association on the Special
Education Advisory Committee.
BACKGROUND & STATUS:
2. The Down Syndrome Association has recently nominated Bruce Ernhofer
as its representative and Lorraine Paquin as its alternate member on the
Special Education Advisory Committee.
3. The letter from the Chairperson of the Down Syndrome Association,
National Capital Region informing the Board of these nominations has
been circulated to trustees under separate cover.
RECOMMENDATION:
THAT the Board confirms the following appointments to the Special
Education Advisory Committee for the term ending 30 November 2000:
Bruce Ernhofer as the regular member and Lorraine Paquin as
the alternate member representing the Down Syndrome
Association, National Capital Region.
