Re: Board Summer Meeting Calendar
ORIGINATOR: Joan Melancon, Assistant Secretary of the Board
PURPOSE:
1. To propose a revision to the Board summer meeting calendar.
BACKGROUND:
2. The Board's By -laws state that during the months of July and August, regular meetings
of the Board shall be at the call of the Chair as required, or as pre - determined by
resolution of the Board.
3. At its meeting of 21 December 1999, the Board approved the schedule of meetings for
the period January to August 2000.
4. It is recommended that the July Board meeting be changed to Tuesday, 4 July and the
August meeting be scheduled for Monday, 28 August.
5. With the agreement of the Chair of the Business Services Committee, the June meeting
of the Business Services Committee has been moved to Tuesday, 13 June because of a
conflict with the Board -wide retirement reception.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Board summer meeting calendar be approved (Appendix A attached).
