RE: Amendment/Addition to Budget Motion
Trustee Libbey has given notice that he will move as follows at the 29 March 2000
Board meeting:
BE IT RESOLVED THAT Trustees and staff launch a joint initiative in April 2000, to be
completed by October 2000, to review the programs and activities of the OCDSB, and
related funding formulae, in the context of the Board's guiding principles and in
consultation with stakeholders, with the objectives of identifying ways to reduce costs,
pursuing adjustments to the funding formula, and generally making every effort to ensure
that the Board to be elected in November will be well positioned to debate a balanced
budget for 2001 -2002.
