RE: Trustee Electoral Zones
Trustee Chambers has given notice that he will move as follows at the 13 December
Board meeting:
Whereas the proposed reorganization of the municipalities within the jurisdiction of the
Ottawa - Carleton District School Board will see the number of municipal wards in the new
City of Ottawa reduced to 20; and,
Whereas the boundaries of the electoral zones for Trustees must utilize the boundaries of
municipal wards;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That staff be directed to report to the January 2000 Chairs
Committee on the actions required by the OCDSB to revise the boundaries of Trustee
Electoral Zones in advance of the November 2000 election.
