RE: Location of Casino
DATE: 25 May 1998
Trustee Bled has given notice that she will move as follow at the 8 June Board meeting:
That staff be directed to investigate plans for the location of the casino in Gloucester
and report back to the Board; and
That any necessary steps be taken to register the concerns of the Board that casinos
should not be located in close proximity to Gloucester High School or any other school
in the Ottawa - Carleton District School Board.
Trustee Bled will provide further rationale for her motion at the meeting.
