Re: Appointment of Association Representative to SEAC

PURPOSE:
1. To seek approval for the appointment of an association representative to the Special Education
Advisory Committee.
BACKGROUND:
2. The Board at its 11 May 1998 meeting, approved the request for membership on the Special
Education Advisory Committee from the Ottawa Regional Chapter of the Spina Bifida and
Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario.
3. The association has nominated Mr. Wayne Anderson to act as their representative on SEAC.
Information on the association and Mr. Anderson was provided to trustees under separate cover
with the agenda material for the 11 May 1998 Board meeting.
RECOMMENDATION
THAT the Board confirm the appointment of Wayne Anderson to the Special Education
Advisory Committee as the regular member representing the Ottawa Regional Chapter of the
Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario for the remainder of the tepxt ending
30 November 2000. �� z
