An extraordinary meeting of the Ottawa - Carleton District School Board was held this
evening in the Trustees' Committee Room, 133 Greenbank Road, Nepean, Ontario, commencing
at 6:40 pm, with Trustee Scott in the chair and the following in attendance: Trustees Albert
Chambers, Alex Getty, Lynn Graham, Patty Anne Hill, *Russ Jackson, Andrew Lam, Norm
MacDonald, Sheryl MacDonald, and Pam Morse.
Staff: Director of Education & Secretary of the Board, James Grieve; Superintendents
Rose Marie Batley, Michael Clarke, Judith Hoye and Judy Turriff; Manager of Communications
and Information Services, Maggie Melenhorst; Labour Relations Officer and Legal Advisor,
Janice McCoy; Personnel Officer (Secondary), Jennifer Baldelli; and Assistant Secretary of the
Board, Joan Melancon.
*In accordance with Ontario Regulation 463/97 and Board Policy P.018.GOV, Electronic
Meetings of the Board and Committees, Trustee Jackson participated in the meeting through a
telephone speaker system.
On a motion by Trustee Getty, seconded by Trustee Norm MacDonald, the Board
resolved into Committee of the Whole to consider the items on the in camera agenda.
Trustee Getty assumed the chair in the Committee, and the Committee later rose and
presented the following report.

Trustee Getty presented Report No. 23, Committee of the Whole (in camera), and
seconded the recommendations in the report, viz:
a) (Motion by Trustees Lam)
That staff proceed as directed in Committee of the Whole with regard to a secondary
labour relations issue.
b) (Motion by Trustee Sheryl MacDonald)
THAT staff proceed as directed in Committee of the Whole with respect to a secondary
labour relations issue.
The report was received and the recommendations were adopted by the Board.
