In a publication from O.M.E. these Codes were set out in 1983.
However, they were revised by a Records /Data Memorandum No.11 dated
June 7, 1984, to which was attached only those pages containing a
code revision.
The revised blue (English) pages are labelled "Revised May 1984,
Effective September 1985 ".
The revised green (French) pages are labelled "Revise en mai 1984,
Entre en vigueur en septembre 1985 ".
In printing the Schools September Report 1984, the Ministry has used
the unrevised 1983 codes in all Ontario schools. For the Schools
September Report 1985, the Ministry will use the revised 1984 Common
Course Codes.
Consequently, for school handbooks (1985), option sheets (1985) and
scheduling (1985), schools should plan not to use the codes from the
Schools September Report 1984. Instead please use the listing sent
from this office August 9, 1984. (Please draw typos to my attention,
e.g. (English) MCA Calculus).
