MEMORANDUM TO: Principals of Secondary Schools
Principals of Private Schools
FROM:
DATE: November 16, 1989
SUBJECT: Common Course Codes for Honour
Graduation Courses and Ontario
Academic Courses
etage
edifice Mowat
Queens Park
Toronto (Ontario)
M7A 1L2
I have attached lists of the common course codes that
must be used to report interim marks to the Ontario
Universities' Application Centre and final marks to the
Ministry of Education.
The Ontario Academic Course Code list includes all
courses for which guidelines have been released. Courses
are included on the Honour Graduation Course Code list if
the date for implementation of the OAC guideline is
subsequent to the 1989 -90 school year or if the OAC
guideline has not been released.
In order to facilitate accurate and timely processing,
please ensure that only the codes appearing on these
lists (or codes assigned for non - guideline courses) are
used and that for each student, the same code is used for
the interim and final mark for each course reported.
Thank you for your cooperation.
