A Florida middle school teacher is accused of arranging late-night
sexual encounters with a 14 -year-old pupil she sent nude photos to
over Snapchat and Instagram.
Stephanie Peterson, 26, allegedly preyed on the boy, then a Grade 7
student, while her husband worked the late shift.
She's accused of covertly picking up the victim after 11 p.m. and
returning him to his family home around 2 a.m., according to WKG-
TV.

The boy was a student of Peterson's last year at New Smyrna Beach
Middle School.
It's believed the relationship began in November and carried over into
the new school year.
Now in Grade 8, the alleged victim was Peterson's teacher's aide,
according to the report.

"The parents got wind of it, and they confronted the teacher about
breaking off the relationship," Sheriff Mike Chitwood told the CBS
affiliate.
"We believe sometime in January, they either resumed or continued
the relationship."
That's when the boy's parents sought police, who reportedly
identified Peterson in x -rated images she allegedly sent the boy.

Peterson, who has since resigned from her position as a science
teacher, told the teen to keep their relationship hush.
She's also accused of buying him pot and paraphernalia.
Peterson is charged with multiple counts of lewd and lascivious
battery.
