Instructions for Completion of Timesheet outside of Easy Connect (To be submitted weekly per location).
1)Enter your current Employment Information – If clarification of your current job title is required to complete this section of the time
sheet, contact HR Operations.
2) Provide details for Assignment Worked – If clarification of assignment offered is required, contact.
3)Hours Worked – Example: 25% (1/4 day in elementary); 66% (2 semestered classes in secondary)
4)Employee’s Signature – Submitting inaccurate information constitutes fraud and could result in disciplinary action up to and including
termination.
5)Principal’s Signature –Determine appropriate rate of pay and ASN. Submit timesheet to HR if first time use of an Emergency OT.
Submit to Payroll if subsequent use of Emergency OT. Timesheet must be authorized by the Principal at that location. If you wish to
have Emergency OT added to casual list in ATE, contact your HR Recruitment and Staffing Administrator to discuss Employee
eligibility.
6) Principal is responsible for forwarding the completed timesheet to the HR or Payroll Department at the end of the week, in which the
assignment was worked, in order to ensure payment on the next scheduled pay date. Timesheets can be submitted by OCDSB mail,
fax or electronic PDF’s (Typed signature accepted if emailed from P/VP/OA) to:

Easy Connect Electronic Timesheet
•Do not complete this timesheet for OT’s, who are on the applicable OT list in Easy Connect for the work being submitted
as the time sheet will be electronically submitted in the weekly export process.
•Do not complete this timesheet when OTs have made themselves not available in EasyConnect. Follow up with the OTs
to update their ATE calendars and then manual fill in EasyConnect.
Hard Copy Timesheet
In the event that an emergency OT can not be entered in Easy Connect, a hard copy time sheet will be required.
Emergency OT’s are not on the emergency OT list, but have been hired to replace an absent teacher when the Easy
Connect Contact Strategy has been exhausted. Some emergencies may include use of:
•a casual or part-time OCDSB EA/ECE (OCT qualified or unqualified)
•an external applicant (OCT qualified with an emergency OT document package completed)
