witness' report of threats to the institution.
Officers remained on the scene Wednesday morning and said charges
may be laid.
Gatineau police would say little about the nature of the threat that drew
them to 1'ecole polyvalente de Itrabliere on Rue de Cannes near
Boulevard La Verendrye Ouest before school began, other than the threat
was reported by a third party.
They aimed to be visible and secure the premises while investigators
talked to the people involved, police said.
By late morning, the police presence was "minimal" but the investigation
continues to see if charges will be laid.
