A Nebraska teacher about to be married has been convicted of having
sex with an underage boy weeks before her big day.
Amy Nowaczyk, 26, was arrested after the boy — who was 13 at the
time — said the teaching temptress seduced him by sending raunchy
photos of her breasts.

From there, the Omaha educator performed oral sex on the boy and
then allowed him to perform a sex act on her — in the classroom.

The teacher and student swapped messages through Snapchat and
the school email and text services. The sexual contact started in
August 2017, months after she became engaged on Christmas Day
2016.
During her sickening assaults, Nowaczyk was in the midst of planning
her June wedding with bartender Jordan Shurtleff, 27. She was
arrested in April.
Nowaczyk pleaded guilty to attempted sexual assault and enticement
by an electric device. She was sentenced to one to two years in jail.
But it could have been worse. She was initially charged with sexually
assaulting a child and could have been sentenced to life in the
slammer.
She will have to register as a sex offender.

The school's principal quickly reassured parents.
"While we cannot comment on personnel or student issues
specifically, we wanted to share with you that we are taking these
allegations very seriously;" the principal told them.
"It is our practice to report any allegation of inappropriate contact
with a student, regardless of whether it involves staff, fellow students,
parents or community members:"
Her school biography said Nowaczyk taught dance classes and was
an NCAA Division I baseball scout for the University of Mississippi, the
University of North Carolina and Texas Christian University.
