School Council Spotlight: Vimy
Ridge Public School Remembrance
Day Rock Garden
Vimy Ridge Public School Council's Clean,
Green & Creative Committee brought
together their school community to create a
Remembrance Garden outside the school.
This beautiful art installation features over
1,000 rocks hand-painted by students and
staff in honour of Remembrance Day and the
100th anniversary of the poppy in
Canada. Read the story.
Coming Soon: Kindergarten and High School Registration
In January and February 2022, OCDSB schools will once again be
hosting virtual parent information nights to support families of students entering
kindergarten and high school. Full details will be shared in the new year. We
invite councils to promote these events in their communities and share
suggestions on new ways to engage prospective families. Learn more.
