OCDSB schools will once again be hosting live, online sessions for families of
students entering kindergarten and high school. These virtual information
nights will take place in January and February 2022, inviting families to learn
about our schools, meet school administrative teams, register their child, and
get answers to their questions about supporting their child’s education journey.
We will be sharing parent information night details and other resources for
families through District and school websites and a variety of other channels.
Please watch for more information in the new year.
School councils are encouraged to consider how they can help promote their
school’s virtual parent information night – whether it’s posting on school
council social media pages or encouraging members to spread the word with
families in their networks.
We also welcome suggestions on ways to promote these events and
kindergarten and high school enrollment in our communities. Do you have an
