In January and February 2022, schools across the District are hosting virtual
parent information nights for families of students entering kindergarten and
high school. These sessions invite families to learn about our schools, meet
school administrative teams, register their child, and get answers to their
questions about supporting their child's education journey.
The virtual information night schedule for kinder arten and hish school is
available on the District website, along with helpful tips and resources for
families. Each school website also includes details about its information night.
Families can join the events live or watch the recordings afterwards.
School councils are encouraged to spread the word to their networks and
local communities. Here are a few tips and resources:
• Do you know a family with kindergarten-aged children or children in
grade 8? Encourage them to check out the District website
(ocdsb.ca/kinder arten or ocdsb.ca/hi hschool) or your school website,
where they can join the information session.
• Share or tag your friends in our OCDSB social media posts below. If
your school has a social media account, be sure to share their posts as
well.

subscribe and share!

Share this resource with your community in English, Arabic, Chinese
(Simplified), French, Inuktitut, Somali, and Urdu.
